The Client

VOO, is a Telecom operator in Wallonia and Brussels. VOO offers analogue and digital television, high-speed internet connections and fixed and mobile telephony.

The challenge

Identify the functional needs in a specification for the implementation of a powerful, reliable and flexible management tool supporting VOO’s Customer Service, Sales, Marketing and Finance functions in line with its development strategy.

Our mission

  • Organization of a functional analysis from the ground up in order to collect the needs related to the daily operational functioning of the company
  • Quantified evaluation of the expected benefits in order to facilitate the decision process concerning the trade-offs between the project deliverables
  • Establishment of a benchmark to measure the success of the project
  • Establishment of a clear project organization with sponsors and individual responsibilities
  • Implementation of a gating approach to project management to provide checkpoints for VOO management and reduce uncertainties for better budget management
  • Assessment of the situation: strategy, organization and IT environment, current and planned initiatives.
  • Management of interviews and workshops to define requirements: In many environments, brainstorming with up to 10 people was most effective, allowing everyone to express themselves and highlight affinities and dependencies.
  • Prioritization of business needs based on cost/benefit ratio, in collaboration with finance and validated by management.
