This part of the operation is often contractually framed to guarantee continuity of operations for the divested entity. GCP was expected to provide <a href=\"https:\/\/gcp-consulting.eu\/en\/consultancy\/\">expertise and support<\/a> in all project management tasks (planning, budget, scope, risk management, etc.).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section data-exad-particle-enable=\"false\" class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-c332b26 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default exad-parallax-effect-no exad-background-color-change-no exad-glass-effect-no exad-sticky-section-no sc_fly_static\" data-id=\"c332b26\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-extended\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-1cd0c79 sc_content_align_inherit sc_layouts_column_icons_position_left exad-glass-effect-no exad-sticky-section-no sc_fly_static\" data-id=\"1cd0c79\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-24db19a exad-sticky-section-no exad-glass-effect-no sc_fly_static elementor-widget elementor-widget-spacer\" data-id=\"24db19a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"spacer.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer-inner\"><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section data-exad-particle-enable=\"false\" class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-c22eb53 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default exad-parallax-effect-no exad-background-color-change-no exad-glass-effect-no exad-sticky-section-no sc_fly_static\" data-id=\"c22eb53\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-extended\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-2de9f98 sc_content_align_inherit sc_layouts_column_icons_position_left exad-glass-effect-no exad-sticky-section-no sc_fly_static\" data-id=\"2de9f98\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d9dd9fa exad-sticky-section-no exad-glass-effect-no sc_fly_static elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d9dd9fa\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3>Organization<\/h3>\n<p>Carve Out IT has been divided into four tracks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Track Infrastructure<\/strong> project aimed to migrate Gal\u00e8re&#8217;s data from a datacenter belonging to the Royal Bam Group to an independent datacenter for Gal\u00e8re.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Licensing track<\/strong> consisted of ensuring the transition of licensing contracts: inventory, needs analysis, negotiation with new suppliers, license transfers, etc.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Workplace track<\/strong> involved migrating O365 data from the Royal Bam Group directory to a new, independent Gal\u00e8re directory.<\/li>\n<li>The aim of <strong>the IT Business Solutions track<\/strong> was to manage the logical separation of IT applications used by the Royal BAM Group and local IT applications, including the separation of data and licenses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The scope of the project was therefore limited to Gal\u00e8re&#8217;s Carve Out. A Carve In of the company into the Thomas &amp; Piron Group structure was not planned.<\/p>\n<h3>Constraints <\/h3>\n<p>The project had 2 main constraints:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Delay<br \/>The Transitional Services Agreement (TSA) required Gal\u00e8re&#8217;s information system to be <strong>completely independent within a very challenging timeframe<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Resource availability<br \/>The Royal BAM Group operated several Carve Out operations in parallel (Germany, Belgium, etc.). The availability of internal and external resources was <strong>therefore a factor to be taken into account when planning tasks<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Mission GCP<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gcp-consulting.eu\/en\/\">GCP<\/a> &#8216;s role in this operation was mainly to <strong>coordinate the teams in order to meet the deadline and scope objectives imposed by the TSA<\/strong>.
